Calthorpe Lodge No. 5172 held its annual Installation Meeting on Tuesday 9 April at Banbury Masonic Centre. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Alan Baverstock. along with a retinue of Provincial Grand Officers and an enthusiastic gather of brethren enjoyed an excellent ceremony which saw W. Bro. Aaron Taylor Installed in the Master’s Chair W. Bro, Edd Frost. The ceremony was followed by an extremely friendly and convivial festive board.

Katharine House Hospice
A big thank you to Calthorpe Lodge No.5172 for welcoming our Head of Fundraising Steph to share a bit about our hospice and what we do.
As well as chatting with some of the members, she was delighted to receive a donation for £500 – which will go towards supporting local people living with an incurable illness.

Graham Ellis. along with a retinue of Provincial Grand Officers and the Temple was filled to capacity for an excellent ceremony which saw W. Bro. Edd Frost Installed in the Master’s Chair in an exemplary manner by W. Bro, Chris Coulson. The ceremony was followed by an extremely friendly and convivial festive board.

Our Christmas 2021 meeting was full of festive fun and enjoyment
An emergency Installation meeting for the Calthorpe Lodge No. 5172 took place at Banbury Masonic hall on Tuesday 10th August 2021, where, W.Bro. Mark Hunt was installed as Worshipful Master by the Installing Master, W.Bro. Yanto Evans. The Provincial Grand Secretary, W.Bro. Bernie Wegerhoff was in attendance, representing the PGM and escorted by the Pr.AGDC, W.Bro. Yanto Evans. The Provincial Grand Secretary was accompanied by the Pr.AGSec, W.Bro. Ron Barnett and Pr.GStwd, W.Bro. Chris Gasson, who are both members of the lodge.
